What We Do:

The Mt. Vernon Education Foundation raises money to award grants to Mt. Vernon Schools’ teachers and students. Since 2008, the MVEF has given over $52,000 in teacher-requested grants to Mt. Vernon Schools! Support the MVEF and help us bring innovative and motivating educational materials directly to Mt. Vernon students!

We Need a Helping Hand

Would you like to help inspire a Mt. Vernon student to reach their full potential in life? The impact of your gift can literally be the difference between a child wanting to learn, or not. The grants we fund have inspired children to learn and make a difference in their education. Help us engage the students in learning and donate here to the “We Need a Helping Hand” campaign. Upcoming Event

Wondering how you can thank that special teacher or staff for how they have positively influenced your child? Send them a Thank-An-Educator certificate and support the Mt. Vernon Education Foundation! For a $10 donation in honor of a teacher, administrator, coach, bus driver or other staff, the Mt. Vernon Education Foundation will provide a personalized certificate with your message on it to the honoree. Submit registration by December 14th for honoree to receive it before holiday break.
