2017 Thank- An-Educator
December 4, 2017 @ 12:00 am - December 17, 2017 @ 11:59 pm
The Thank an Educator Program is an important part of Mt. Vernon Education Foundation and the work that we all do as a community. Each holiday season, MVEF gives families an opportunity to thank their teachers, coaches and all school employees with a personalized certificate and a gift to the Mt. Vernon Education Foundation which awards grants to the classrooms of MVCSC. Joyner Homes is serving as a title sponsor for this year’s event.
Certificates are $10 per teacher or $50 per school. All donations are tax deductible.
A few of the responses from our teachers include:
What that says to me is that I have again achieved my personal goal. My one goal has always been to make a difference in the life of a student through learning and mentoring. When a parent takes the time out of their day to say thank you it means A LOT! I know I am on the right track and I remain energized to do it all over again. For me this job is all about fostering relationships. -Ms. W MES
They mean so much to me that I have framed each one and hung them in a special place in my craft room at home. I am regularly reminded of cherished times working with those students, and that I helped make a learning impact on their lives. -Mrs. H FES
The Thank an Educator certificates are some of the most prized gifts that I have received from the families of my students. They truly make me feel appreciated and all the hard work worth it:) -Mrs. M 8th Grade Academy
To receive a Thank an Educator certificate is always a very memorable moment for me personally. I work hard to build a rapport with students all year long; so to be remembered by a former student in this way only validates the time and effort…it is very rewarding. -Mrs. Z MVHS
Print your form today & return to MVEF either through your school office, mail or email. When you thank a teacher, you give them a gift of gratitude and appreciate and a gift of fulfilling the wishes of teachers and students through the Mt. Vernon Education Foundation.
