HOW TO APPLY FOR A GRANT
MVEF is proud to grant out thousands of dollars to very worthwhile educational projects. Since 2008, MVEF has funded more than $200,000 towards teacher-requested enriching educational materials. All interested Mt. Vernon staff should review the grant awards program and submit an online application.
The foundation managed several funds that were established by initial donors to fund a specific project or need. All funds are open to individual donations. To learn more about individual funds click the links below. To make an online donation, click the donate button below.
This scholarship fund was set up in honor of the deceased alumni of Mt. Vernon. Please note if your employer has a matching gifts program.
In honor of former Soccer Coach Steve Williams, a scholarship fund was set up to assist with college fees for one female soccer player and one male soccer player. More info & scholarship requirements »
The Joel Young Memorial Fund was established by the foundation on behalf of MVEF Board Member Jeff Young and his wife Belinda, as a tribute to their son Joel. Joel was very active with children in his career as a behavior coach for students with emotional difficulties. It was Joel’s wish that children have a chance for success and have good lives.
